かつてあった日立鉱山所有の大劇場・本山劇場へと続く長い階段。

今は劇場の痕跡も無く、鉱山従業員やその家族達で賑わったであろう階段も草木が生い茂り、訪れる人もおりません。
私が訪れた時は見事な紅葉が人知れず真っ赤に燃えているのみでした。
